DALLAS HIGH SCHOOL - CTE BUILDING / STORAGE BUILDING / GREENHOUSE / ATHLETIC VESTIBULE
A. The project consists of: Complete demolition of all interior equipment, MEP systems, partition walls, and all finishes back to studs at all perimeter walls at all structural elements, demolish existing exterior siding, trim work and weather barrier back to sheathing, and demolition of associated site items. The existing building is a 1-story wood frame building of approximately 14,800 sf. The construction is a complete renovation of the existing shell of the CTE building, new storage building, new greenhouse, and site related items. Program spaces consist (6) classroom spaces, restrooms, storage areas, commodities storage and walk-in cooler & freezer. New roof extension over the exterior material yard, patch & repair of the existing roof system for MEP upgrades and new exterior metal panel cladding. New entry vestibule at the athletic entrance of the existing high school. B. Demolish an existing garage, greenhouse, and associated site items for a new storage building. Remove and salvage existing equipment in the greenhouse for the owner. C. Remove and salvage existing greenhouse frame for owner and new greenhouse. D. Add new storefront and framed walls for new vestibule at the high school athletic entrance.
